The invention provides an assembling method of a central slip ring shifting fork. The assembling method comprises the following specific steps: (1) determining to select a central slip ring shifting fork of which the sliding distance of hollow steel is greater than the fluctuation adjusting distance between a rotary platform and a slip ring according to the requirement of the fluctuation adjusting distance between the rotary platform and the slip ring in different crane models or the same crane model; (2) channel steel is fixedly installed on a rotor of the slip ring, a stator of the slip ring is fixed to a base, and the rotor and the stator are rotationally connected; (3) fixedly mounting the connecting flat plate on the rotary platform; (4) the first hollow steel on the upper portion of the shifting fork is sleeved with the second hollow steel on the lower portion of the shifting fork, and relative sliding can be generated between the hollow steel after assembly; and (5) fixedly mounting the wire code on the first hollow steel at the upper part of the shifting fork.
