The invention relates to the related technical field of cranes, in particular to a limiting device and a crane, the limiting device comprises a first beam body, a second beam body, a first-stage limiting assembly and a second-stage limiting assembly, and a first-stage notch and a third-stage notch are formed in the first beam body; the first beam body and the second beam body are installed in a butt joint mode through the limiting device formed by combining the first-stage limiting assembly and the second-stage limiting assembly, so that the main beam of the crane is formed, and the first-stage limiting assembly is arranged to be formed by combining the limiting bolt, the limiting nut and the anti-loosening piece; the anti-loosening piece is arranged to be composed of the bottom plate, the elastic supporting piece, the movable base and the clamping teeth, so that the anti-loosening piece is embedded into the clamping groove formed in the limiting bolt through the clamping teeth, the limiting nut is embedded into the nut groove, and therefore the positioning stability of the limiting bolt and the limiting nut is guaranteed; therefore, the loosening phenomenon between the first-stage limiting assembly and the second-stage limiting assembly is avoided, and the overall connection reliability of the structure is guaranteed.
