The invention provides a safe vehicle distance determining method and device, electronic equipment and a storage medium. The safe vehicle distance determining method comprises the steps that the distance between a vehicle and a front vertical rod used for fixing a traffic light, the height of the vehicle, the height of a front vehicle and the height of the traffic light are obtained; determining a first difference value between the height of the traffic light and the height of the vehicle; determining a second difference value between the height of the front vehicle and the height of the vehicle; and determining a safe vehicle distance according to the distance, the first difference value and the second difference value. Through the first difference value between the height of the traffic light and the height of the vehicle, the second difference value between the height of the front vehicle and the height of the vehicle and the distance between the vehicle and the front vertical rod used for fixing the traffic light, the safe vehicle distance between the vehicle and the front vehicle can be determined, and under the safe distance, the situation that sight is blocked due to the fact that the front vehicle is high is avoided; therefore, the driver of the vehicle cannot see the traffic light to cause accidents.

    本申请提供了一种安全车距的确定方法、装置、电子设备及存储介质,该安全车距的确定方法包括:获取本车距前方用于固定交通灯的立杆的距离、本车高度、前车高度和交通灯的高度;确定交通灯的高度与本车高度之间的第一差值;确定前车高度与本车高度之间的第二差值;根据距离、第一差值和第二差值,确定安全车距。本申请通过交通灯的高度与本车高度之间的第一差值、前车高度与本车高度之间的第二差值和本车距前方用于固定交通灯的立杆的距离,能够确定本车与前车之间的安全车距,且在该安全距离下,避免由于前方车辆较高阻挡视线,使本车驾驶人员无法看见交通灯而引起事故。
