The invention provides a vehicle following distance adjusting method and device, a controller and a storage medium. The method comprises the steps that the road type and the traffic flow of a current driving road section where a target vehicle is located are acquired; and based on the road type and the traffic flow, determining the following distance of the target vehicle in the current driving road section. According to the method, the vehicle following distance can be intelligently adjusted according to the road type and the traffic flow, and therefore the driving safety of the vehicle in the self-adaptive cruise mode is improved.

    本申请提供一种跟车间距调整方法、装置、控制器及存储介质。该方法包括:获取目标车辆所处的当前行使路段的道路类型和交通流量;基于所述道路类型和所述交通流量,确定所述目标车辆在当前行使路段的跟车间距。通过上述方法,本申请能够根据道路类型及交通流量进行跟车间距的智能化调整,从而提高车辆在自适应巡航模式下的行车安全。
