The invention discloses a non-stop dynamic automatic detection device for a railway retarder, which comprises a detection vehicle body moving along a rail and a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) arranged on the detection vehicle body, and is characterized in that the detection vehicle body is provided with two detection assemblies for detecting the retarders distributed on the two sides of the rail; the detection vehicle body is further provided with a guiding and resetting structure used for achieving guiding movement of the two detection assemblies and resetting after detection, and each detection assembly is provided with a detection stop lever structure used for conducting fixed-point detection on the position of the retarder on the corresponding side of the detection assembly. The detection vehicle body is also provided with a driving unit for driving the detection vehicle body to move on the rail; when the detection stop lever structure abuts against and makes contact with the retarder, the detection vehicle body continues to run at a constant speed, and the detection assembly is driven by the detection stop lever structure to keep static relative to the retarder and move relative to the detection vehicle body through the guide reset structure.
