The invention relates to a charging device. A charging device disclosed in the present specification is provided with an input port, an output port, and a relay circuit. The input port is electrically connected to an external power source provided externally, and is configured so as to be able to input DC power and AC power from the external power source. The output port is electrically connected with the electric vehicle and outputs direct current power to the electric vehicle. The relay circuit relays power between the input port and the output port. A relay circuit is provided with: a converter circuit that converts AC power into DC power when the AC power is input to an input port; and an input bypass circuit for bypassing the DC power by the converter circuit when the DC power is input to the input port.
