According to the lifting capacity actually needed to be increased by the forklift, according to the moment balance principle, moment balance generated by a forklift body system, the balancing weight and carried goods relative to the center O of the front axle is achieved, under the condition that the weight of the balancing weight is not changed, the length of the gravity center of the balancing weight needing to move backwards is calculated, and the length of the forklift body and the distance between the front axle and the rear axle are increased by corresponding lengths; and the effects of increasing the lifting capacity and improving the bearing capacity of the forklift can be achieved by lengthening the axle distance.
