Provided is a remote parking device capable of parking a vehicle in a parking area by remote parking control without requiring a driver to take complicated steps when there is a movable obstacle in the parking area. A remote parking device (10) executes remote parking control for causing a vehicle (100) to travel and park in a designated parking area (305D) in response to a signal wirelessly transmitted from an operation terminal (200). The remote parking device is configured so as to be able to set, as a designated parking area, a parking area (305) in which there is an obstacle (400) that becomes an obstacle when the vehicle is parked.
