The parking brake drive-by-wire system of the unmanned vehicle comprises a brake oil way composed of an oil pump, an energy accumulator and a negative brake pair, a liquid filling electromagnetic valve is connected between the oil pump and the energy accumulator, and a negative brake releasing electromagnetic valve is connected between the energy accumulator and the negative brake pair; a first energy accumulator pressure detection switch and a second energy accumulator pressure detection switch are sequentially connected between the liquid filling electromagnetic valve and the energy accumulator. And a brake valve pressure detection switch is connected between the energy accumulator and the negative brake release electromagnetic valve. The invention further provides a control method for parking braking of the unmanned vehicle. The brake-by-wire parking brake control mode of negative brake and pressure switch detection is adopted, closed-loop detection is conducted on the brake state when the brake-by-wire device breaks down, and therefore a series of safety problems caused by friction plate damage due to the fact that the whole vehicle runs with brake due to the brake fault or no feedback due to brake failure are avoided.
