The power converter further comprises a gear meshed with the rack, the power converter further comprises a ratchet mechanism, and the ratchet mechanism comprises a ratchet disc installed on the crankshaft and a pawl installed on the gear. In the working process, a pure mechanical transmission mode is adopted to enable the pin shaft to stretch out or retreat so as to hang or loosen an object to be lifted, and the lifting appliance disclosed by the invention is not provided with electronic elements and can stably work in radiation and electromagnetic interference environments.
