The invention provides a saddle and a self-tilting vertical take-off and landing aircraft, relates to the field of aviation, and aims to solve the technical problems of poor seat experience, complex structure and low reliability of the self-tilting vertical take-off and landing aircraft. The saddle comprises a riding part, a sitting part and a transition part arranged between the riding part and the sitting part; when the saddle is in the first posture, the riding part is used for being attached to at least part of the buttocks and at least part of thighs of a person; when the saddle is in the second posture, the sitting part is used for being attached to at least part of the hip and at least part of the waist of the person; the saddle further comprises a restraining part, the restraining part comprises a backrest and a pressing rod part rotationally arranged on the backrest, the pressing rod part comprises a second rod and two first rods connected to the end of the second rod, the end, deviating from the second rod, of each first rod is rotationally arranged on the backrest, and the second rod is used for restraining the chest of a person. Each second rod is used for surrounding and restraining the positions of the back, the shoulders and the chest of the person; the restraining part can restrain and support the upper body of a person.
