The invention discloses an intensive intelligent retarder based on a magneto-rheological technology and a control method of the intensive intelligent retarder. The intensive intelligent retarder comprises a shell and a brake cylinder. The brake cylinder comprises a cylinder barrel and a piston head which can be mounted in the cylinder barrel in an up-down moving manner, and the cylinder barrel is divided into two cavities by the piston head, namely an upper cavity positioned above the piston head and a lower cavity positioned below the piston head; a plurality of magneto-rheological blocking channels which are arranged in a penetrating mode are evenly distributed in the piston head in the circumferential direction with the axis of the piston head as the center, and a magnet exciting coil is installed in the piston head. The upper cavity and the lower cavity of the cylinder barrel are communicated through the magneto-rheological blocking channel, and the upper cavity of the cylinder barrel and the magneto-rheological blocking channel are filled with magneto-rheological fluid. Therefore, the magneto-rheological fluid serves as an energy consumption material, proper braking work and resistance work can be output for the intelligent magneto-rheological retarder in real time under the working conditions of various types of railway vehicles (including various weights and speeds), and the critical speed of the intelligent retarder can be adjusted and controlled in real time.
本发明公开了一种基于磁流变技术的集约型智能减速顶及其控制方法。集约型智能减速顶包括壳体以及制动缸;制动缸包括缸筒以及可上下移动地安装在缸筒内的活塞头,缸筒通过活塞头分隔成两个腔体,对应为位于活塞头上方的上腔和位于活塞头下方的下腔;活塞头以自身的轴线为中心周向均布有若干贯通设置的磁流变阻塞通道,且活塞头中安装有励磁线圈;缸筒的上腔、下腔通过所述磁流变阻塞通道连通,且缸筒的上腔以及磁流变阻塞通道中均充填有磁流变液。由此可见,本发明把磁流变液作为耗能材料,能够为智能磁流变减速顶在多种类型的铁路车辆(包括各类重量和速度)工况下实时输出适当的制动功和阻力功,实现智能减速顶临界速度实时可调可控。
