A tow bar arrangement for a trolley vehicle, the tow bar arrangement comprising a control unit and an adjustable tow bar attached to the trolley vehicle, the adjustable tow bar comprising a front coupling element arranged to be vertically adjusted with respect to the ground by the control unit, the control unit is arranged to determine a vertical coupling load associated with the front coupling element, and wherein the control unit is arranged to determine a vertical coupling load associated with the front coupling element when the front coupling element is coupled to the traction vehicle unit, a desired vertical coupling load associated with the front coupling element is set by vertically adjusting the front coupling element.
