The invention provides a train platform landmark identification system and method, the system comprises a central server and a plurality of groups of projection devices, each projection device comprises a projection processing module, a rotation control module and a plurality of projection modules, and the central server is used for sending arrival train information to the projection processing module of a platform; the projection processing module is used for determining a projection module to be projected, train projection information of the projection module and a first rotation angle based on the arrival train information, sending the train projection information to the projection module and sending the first rotation angle to the rotation control module; the rotation control module is used for controlling the projection module to rotate based on the first rotation angle; and the projection module is used for projecting the train projection information to the platform ground. The train projection information is accurately projected on the ground of the platform through the projection module, so that the accuracy and convenience of platform landmark identification are improved, and passengers can quickly find the parking positions of the carriages.
