The invention discloses a relay detection circuit of a power battery and a battery control unit, the circuit comprises a battery power supply unit, a voltage division unit, a voltage detection unit and a control unit, one end of the voltage division unit is connected with the battery power supply unit; one end of the voltage detection unit is connected with the other end of the voltage division unit through a detection port, a first node is arranged between the voltage detection unit and the voltage division unit, and the other end of the voltage detection unit is connected with a cathode relay and an anode relay of the power battery respectively; the other end of the cathode relay is connected with the other end of the anode relay and then grounded; the control unit is connected with the first node and used for detecting the voltage value of the first node and determining the working state of the positive relay and/or the negative relay of the power battery according to the voltage value of the first node. The circuit can determine the working states of the two relays of the power battery at the same time, and the purpose of saving detection resources of the battery control unit is achieved.
