The invention relates to an event-based subway line train running interval automatic calculation method, which comprises the following steps of: calculating interval time for sequentially passing through specific position points according to a speed-position curve, and combining fixed turnout action, route handling and train turn-back end change time; and automatically calculating the tracking interval time of the front and rear trains passing through different places such as stations, turning back and bifurcation and convergence. According to the method, the interval time required for the successive occurrence of each event can be calculated by defining the specific position point of the train as the event, so that the running interval time of the train at different places of the line can be accurately obtained, the workload of manual calculation is reduced, and human errors are avoided.
