The invention belongs to the technical field of mobile charging pile robots, and relates to an anti-roll mobile charging pile robot and a charging method, the anti-roll mobile charging pile robot comprises a driving mechanism, a machine body, a mechanical arm assembly and a charging gun; the mechanical arm assembly is provided with a connector pushing mechanism and a connector clamping mechanism. The connector clamping mechanism comprises a fixing rod, a connecting gear, a connector moving block, a first fastening block and a second fastening block. The joint pushing mechanism comprises a pushing motor, a coupler, a ball screw connected with the pushing motor through the coupler and a pushing sliding block installed on the ball screw, the pushing sliding block and the fourth mechanical arm form a sliding pair, and the pushing sliding block and the ball screw form a rotating pair. The clamping mechanism is designed, when a to-be-charged vehicle is charged, the connector of the electric energy output module can be driven to be fixedly connected with the charging gun, connection is timely disconnected after charging is finished, and the service life of the charging gun is prolonged.
