A method for diagnosing a fuel leak of a vehicle includes: measuring a pressure of a fuel tank by a pressure sensor in a closed state of a fuel system during a start-up shutdown of the vehicle (i.e. When the vehicle is shut down); measuring an internal temperature of the fuel tank through a temperature sensor; and diagnosing, by the controller, whether a leak has occurred by performing different leak diagnoses according to the pressure condition of the fuel tank. Thereby, when a pressure value of the fuel tank obtained when the pressure of the fuel tank is measured is at an atmospheric pressure level, the controller performs a first leakage diagnosis; when the pressure value is higher than the positive pressure, the controller performs a second leakage diagnosis; and when the pressure value is lower than the negative pressure, the controller performs a third leakage diagnosis.
