An information processing apparatus capable of communicating with a vehicle includes one or more processors. The one or more processors are configured to detect the vehicle before parking; determining a characteristic of the detected vehicle or a characteristic of a driver of the vehicle; setting a parking frame of the vehicle according to the characteristics; and transmitting information representing the parking frame to the vehicle.
