The invention relates to the technical field of ships, in particular to a pod type propeller and a ship. The pod type propeller comprises a propeller body, a rack and a tilting mechanism, the rack can be arranged on the outer side of a ship board of the ship body, and the propeller body is movably arranged on the rack. The tilting mechanism is arranged on the rack and is in transmission connection with the propeller body so as to drive the propeller body to rotate between the initial position and the working position. When the thruster body is located at the working position, a propeller of the thruster body enters water, and the thruster body is in a vertical state at the moment. When the thruster body is located at the initial position, the propeller of the thruster body is not in contact with water, and the thruster body is in a horizontal state. The ship comprises the pod type thruster, the thruster body is quickly and additionally arranged on the ship through the rack, and the ship does not need to be dragged into a dry dock for refitting, so that the adding difficulty and adding cost of the thruster body are reduced, and the adding efficiency of the thruster body is improved.

    本发明涉及船舶技术领域,尤其涉及一种吊舱式推进器及船舶。吊舱式推进器包括推进器本体、台架和起翘机构,台架能够设置于船体的船舷外侧,推进器本体活动地设置于台架上。起翘机构设置于台架上,起翘机构与推进器本体传动连接,以驱动推进器本体在初始位置和工作位置之间转动。当推进器本体位于工作位置时,推进器本体的螺旋桨进入水中,此时推进器本体呈竖直状态。当推进器本体位于初始位置时,推进器本体的螺旋桨与水脱离接触,且推进器本体呈水平状态。船舶包括上述的吊舱式推进器,通过台架将推进器本体快速加装于船舶上,由于无需将船舶拖入干船坞内进行改装,降低了推进器本体的加装难度和加装成本,提高了推进器本体的加装效率。
