The invention provides a city-level traffic control method based on an intelligent networked automobile, which is implemented on a data acquisition and processing platform and a traffic control platform which are connected with each other, and comprises the following steps: the data acquisition and processing platform periodically receives vehicle track data reported by a preset new energy automobile national monitoring and management platform, processing the vehicle track data, and further combining with a preset map to obtain dynamic road information; and the traffic control platform controls traffic lights according to the dynamic road information. By implementing the method, large-scale popularization can be quickly carried out to solve the current traffic situation that modern cities are more and more congested, the passing efficiency of urban roads is improved, and the reconstruction cost of the roads is also saved.
