When the mobile robot provided by the invention crosses an obstacle, the first wheel is stressed to force the wheel mounting seat to move along the guide structure and press the damping structure; and under the cooperation of the guide structure and the damping structure, the wheel mounting seat and the first wheel connected with the wheel mounting seat only have the moving freedom degree for moving along the guide structure and do not have the rotating freedom degree, so that the first wheel can be prevented from swinging front and back and left and right relative to the vehicle body, and the corresponding axle distance and wheel track can be kept unchanged.
