The invention is applicable to the technical field of continuously variable transmissions, and provides a continuously variable transmission for an unmanned helicopter, comprising: a housing comprising an upper rotating part and a lower rotating part which are oppositely arranged, and a lubricating assembly mounted between the upper rotating part and the lower rotating part, a top plate and a bottom plate which are respectively arranged on the outer sides of the far ends of the upper rotating part and the lower rotating part, and a transmission part, the input assembly is rotationally connected into the top plate, located on the outer side of the upper rotating part and matched with the input assembly in a meshed mode, the output assembly is rotationally connected into the bottom plate, located on the outer side of the lower rotating part and matched with the output assembly in a meshed mode, and the speed changing components are located between the top plate and the bottom plate and distributed in an array mode and located on the outer side of the shell. A control assembly is arranged in the shell and movably matched with the multiple speed changing components, the speed changer has no requirement for the rotating speed of a helicopter engine, and rotation and stop of the output shaft are completely separated from the engine and are not affected by the rotating speed of the engine.
