The invention relates to a steering device for an unmanned drive-by-wire chassis, which comprises a steering gear box connected with a steering wheel through a transmission shaft, the steering gear box is connected with a power-assisted steering motor through a universal joint, and an output shaft of the power-assisted steering motor drives a steering mechanism to drive a steering wheel to rotate. By improving the connection mode between the steering gear box and the power-assisted motor, the influence on the driving posture of the vehicle body due to the change of road conditions is avoided; the influence of the change of the vehicle body posture on the sensing equipment and the increase of unnecessary calculation of the sensing equipment are avoided, so that the power consumption is increased and the performance of the sensing equipment is reduced.
