The invention is suitable for the technical field of vehicle identification, and provides a vehicle identification method and system based on edge computing, and the method comprises the steps: obtaining a video image through employing a vehicle-mounted front camera, generating a video stream according to the video image, extracting a target feature from the video stream, and carrying out the recognition of the target feature; carrying out driving behavior analysis and running state analysis on the target features, obtaining one-to-one corresponding analysis results, and outputting the analysis results; wherein the target feature is a license plate or a vehicle, the driving behavior analysis is to analyze whether a road safety driving rule is violated, and the state analysis is to analyze whether the operation state of an external indicating lamp of the vehicle accords with the driving behavior; therefore, shooting of dynamic traffic illegal driving behaviors based on edge calculation is realized, and the monitoring strength of traffic safety driving behaviors is greatly improved.

    本发明适用车辆识别技术领域,提供了一种基于边缘计算的车辆识别方法及系统,方法包括:通过使用车载前方摄像头获取视频图像,根据视频图像生成视频流,从视频流中提取出目标特征,对目标特征进行行驶行为分析和运行状态分析并获得一一对应的分析结果,输出分析结果;其中,目标特征为车牌或车辆,行驶行为分析为分析是否违反道路安全行驶规则,状态分析为分析车辆的外部指示灯运行状态是否与行驶行为相符;从而实现基于边缘计算的动态交通违法行驶行为的拍摄,大大提高了交通安全行驶行为的监控力度。
