The robot control method comprises the steps that the inside and outside states of a robot relative to a lift car are obtained; whether the car reaches a preset target floor or not is judged, and if yes, the robot is controlled to execute preset actions corresponding to the inside and outside states; after the preset action is finished, the connection state of the robot and a first communication module of the lift car is obtained; and determining the current internal and external states of the robot according to the connection state. According to the robot control method, the current inside and outside states of the robot relative to the car can be rapidly determined, and then whether the robot successfully enters or leaves the elevator or not is judged.
