The invention concerns a tyre having an improved performance balance in which the tread comprises a rubber composition. The composition is made from an elastomer matrix comprising 25 to 95 parts by weight per hundred parts by weight of elastomer, phr, of copolymer made from butadiene and styrene having a glass transition temperature lower than -70 DEG C, and 5 to 75 phr of polybutadiene, the elastomer matrix comprising less than 15 phr of isoprene elastomer; at least one reinforcing filler; 25 to 100 phr of at least one plasticising resin having a glass transition temperature higher than 20 DEG C; and a curing system.
