The structural elevator for the large load has the beneficial effects that a traction suspension ratio of the elevator is set to be 4 to 1, the radial load of a main shaft of the traction machine can be reduced by half, and meanwhile, compared with a traditional gear asynchronous traction elevator, the adopted permanent magnet synchronous traction machine can reduce 40% of energy consumption and 40% of traction machine cost, so that the enterprise and social cost is reduced under the condition of safe and reliable operation; in the using process, a car is connected with the traction mechanism through two car auxiliary beam diversion sheaves and a car bottom diversion sheave, and it can be guaranteed that the elevator does not shake in the running process, so that running is stabler, and the riding comfort of passengers can be improved; and meanwhile, collision between the car and a hoistway is avoided, so that the car is protected to a certain degree.
