The invention discloses a battery pack and a method for performing voltage acquisition and battery energy equalization on the battery pack. The battery pack comprises a plurality of rechargeable batteries connected in series; each rechargeable battery comprises a battery cell, a positive tab and a negative tab, wherein the positive tab and the negative tab are arranged on two opposite end parts of the battery cell. The battery pack is characterized in that the battery cell of at least one rechargeable battery is also provided with an auxiliary tab, wherein the auxiliary tab is configured to have the potential equal to that of one of the positive tab and the negative tab, and at least part of the auxiliary tab is used for being connected with a circuit for voltage acquisition and/or battery energy equalization. The battery pack adopting the above design is beneficial to voltage acquisition and battery energy equalization.
