The invention discloses a method and a system for determining an average vehicle speed by using satellite positioning data, and relates to the technical field of traffic control and management. The method comprises the steps: obtaining the satellite positioning historical data of N vehicles in a set time period; acquiring the longitudes and latitudes of the starting point and the end point of the to-be-determined average speed road section; obtaining a shortest line between the starting point and the end point according to the longitudes and latitudes of the starting point and the end point; discretizing the shortest line between the starting point and the end point into a longitude and latitude sequence of passing points; respectively matching the longitude and latitude of each passing point in the longitude and latitude sequence of the passing points with the longitude and latitude in the satellite positioning historical data of the N vehicles to obtain the successfully matched longitudes and latitudes of the plurality of passing points; and obtaining the average speed of the to-be-determined average speed road section in the set time period according to the longitudes and latitudes of the plurality of successfully matched passing points. The method can accurately calculate the average speed of any road section.

    本发明公开一种使用卫星定位数据确定平均车速的方法及系统,涉及交通控制与管理技术领域,方法包括:获取设定时间段内N辆车的卫星定位历史数据;获取待确定平均车速路段的起点的经纬度和终点的经纬度;根据起点的经纬度和终点的经纬度得到起点和终点间最短线路;将起点和终点间最短线路离散化为途经点的经纬度序列;将途经点的经纬度序列中各个途经点的经纬度分别与N辆车的卫星定位历史数据中的经纬度进行匹配,得到匹配成功的多个途经点的经纬度;根据匹配成功的多个途经点的经纬度得到待确定平均车速路段在设定时间段内的平均车速。本发明能精确计算任意路段平均车速。
