The invention discloses a motor steel wire rope winding drum which comprises a driving rotating shaft, a rope winding drum and a clutch, wherein the rope winding drum is arranged on the driving rotating shaft in a matched and sleeving manner, and the clutch is used for transmission connection between the driving rotating shaft and the rope winding drum. A meshing part is arranged at one end of the driving rotating shaft, the clutch is installed on the meshing part in a sliding manner, and the rope winding drum is driven by the clutch to rotate. The motor steel wire rope winding drum is mainly applied to hoisting equipment such as hoists or electric hoists, wherein the clutch on the meshing part is used for driving the rope winding drum to rotate; when the steel wire rope is lowered, the clutch is used for separating the rope winding drum from the driving rotating shaft in a transmission manner, so that unpowered rope lowering is achieved, the effect of rapid rope falling is achieved, and operation is more flexible; and in addition, an anti-lock through sleeve is connected with the interior of the rope winding drum in a sleeved manner, and therefore the phenomenon of overheating locking caused by friction between the interior of the rope winding drum and the driving rotating shaft is avoided.
