The device comprises a controller, a logic control circuit, a brake sensor and a brake lamp control unit, wherein the controller, the brake sensor and the brake lamp control unit are connected with the logic control circuit; the controller receives a brake lamp control instruction output by an upper computer, analyzes the brake lamp control instruction to obtain a brake status bit and to-be-verified data, and outputs a first brake lamp control signal to the logic control circuit when the brake status bit represents that braking is needed and verification of the to-be-verified data is passed; the brake sensor receives the brake instruction and outputs a second brake lamp control signal to the logic control circuit according to the brake instruction; the logic control circuit receives the first brake lamp control signal or the second brake lamp control signal, outputs a brake lamp turn-on signal to the brake lamp control unit and controls the brake lamp control unit to turn on a brake lamp. According to the scheme, the automobile safety can be improved.
