Disclosed are a connection assembly for a wing, a wing for an aircraft, and a wing mounting method. The wing comprising a main wing, a slat, and a connection assembly movably connecting the slat to the main wing, the connection assembly comprising an elongated slat track, a front end portion of the slat track being mounted to the slat, and a rear end portion of the slat track being mounted to the main wing. The trailing end and the intermediate portion of the slat track are mounted to the main wing via a roller bearing comprising a guide rail, a first roller unit and a second roller unit, the slat track having a profile comprising an upper flange portion, a lower flange portion and at least one web portion, the second roller unit is disposed in a recess between the upper and lower flange portions and engages with an engagement surface provided at the upper flange portion and/or at the lower flange portion. A gap is provided between the upper flange portion and the first roller unit or a yoke portion for holding the first roller unit, the gap being wider than a diameter of the second roller unit such that the second roller unit passes through the gap to be inserted into the groove when the slat track is mounted on the main wing.
