Provided is a gripping mechanism which enables stable gripping of transportation articles of various sizes. A gripping mechanism 10 is attached to a mobile body for gripping and conveying transportation articles. This gripping mechanism is provided with: a pinion 20 that is provided so as to be rotatable about a rotary axis AX; and first and second arms 12, 14 that are for gripping the transportation articles, and are arranged with the rotary axis located at the center thereof so as to be separated from the rotary axis by equal distances. When the pinion 20 rotates in a prescribed direction, the first and second arms 12, 14 move in a direction approaching the rotary axis AX.

    本发明提供能够稳定地把持各种尺寸的搬运物的把持机构。把持机构10为了把持并搬送搬运物而安装在移动体上。并且,具备小齿轮20、第一臂12和第二臂14,小齿轮20设置成能够以旋转轴AX为中心旋转,第一臂12和第二臂14为了把持搬运物,设置成以旋转轴为中心,与旋转轴离开相同距离。当小齿轮20沿规定方向旋转时,第一臂12和第二臂14沿接近旋转轴AX的方向移动。
