The double-holding-brake safety elevator main machine comprises a motor device, a brake device, a reduction gearbox device and a brake control device. The motor device is designed to be smaller, the occupied area is reduced, and the space utilization rate is increased. A specific hollowing technology is adopted in the brake device, on one hand, the friction area is increased, and the brake effect is improved; and on the other hand, the weight can be reduced, the brake effect is ensured, and cost is saved.
