The invention discloses a tire sidewall rubber material containing liquid reclaimed rubber and a preparation method thereof, which belong to the field of rubber. The rubber material is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 20 to 50 parts of natural rubber, 30 to 50 parts of butadiene rubber, 20 to 50 parts of liquid reclaimed rubber, 30 to 50 parts of carbon black, 2.0 to 6.0 parts of tackifying resin, 2.5 to 5.0 parts of zinc oxide, 1.0 to 3.0 parts of stearic acid, 3.0 to 9.0 parts of anti-aging agent, 0.1 to 0.3 part of scorch retarder CTP, 0.5 to 1.5 parts of sulfur and 1.5 to 2.0 parts of accelerant. The liquid reclaimed rubber not only replaces aromatic hydrocarbon oil as a plasticizer and reduces the use amount of raw rubber and carbon black, but also can realize partial functions of adding liquid rubber. The liquid reclaimed rubber is applied to the tire sidewall rubber material, all indexes can meet the requirements of the tire sidewall rubber material, and the raw materials and the processing cost are saved.
