This correction method for a gyro sensor (223) that measures the angular speed of a vehicle around a vertical direction axis comprises: a generation process in which correction information is obtained by performing processing on a difference between a measurement azimuth, which is obtained by performing processing on sensor output from the gyro sensor (223), and a vehicle azimuth, which is estimated using a marker disposed on a travel path of the vehicle; and a correction process in which the measurement azimuth, which is obtained by performing processing on sensor output from the gyro sensor (223), is corrected using the correction information.
