The invention relates to a power assisting mechanism for a recirculating ball steering gear of a commercial vehicle and a power assisting method on the steering gear, and belongs to the technical field of commercial vehicle electric recirculating ball steering gears. A controller is fixedly installed at one end of a motor and connected with a sensor through a wire; a worm is installed in a power assisting mechanism shell through bearings at the two ends and connected with a transmission shaft of the motor through a coupler; and a worm pinion shaft is fixedly supported in the circulating ball shell through a large-end bearing and a small-end bearing, the front end of the pinion shaft is connected with a large gear installed on the steering screw in a meshed mode, a worm gear is fixedly installed at the rear end of the pinion shaft, and the worm gear is connected with the worm in a meshed mode. The power assisting mechanism is simple in structure and good in practicability, and solves the problems that: the output torque of an existing electric steering gear can only meet the requirement for the output torque of a light commercial vehicle basically and cannot meet the torque output requirement of medium and heavy commercial vehicles, meanwhile, the structure form is single, the interference with the appearance space of the whole vehicle is often caused, and the requirement of customers for the whole vehicle clearance is difficult to meet.

    本发明专利涉及一种用于商用车循环球转向器的助力机构及在转向器上的助力方法,属商用车电动循环球转向器技术领域。电机的一端固装有控制器,控制器通过导线与传感器连接;助力机构壳体内通过两端的轴承装有蜗杆,蜗杆通过联轴器与电机的传动轴连接;循环球壳体内通过大端轴承和小端轴承固定支撑蜗杆小齿轮轴,小齿轮轴的前端与安装在转向螺杆上的大齿轮啮合连接,小齿轮轴的后端固装有蜗轮,蜗轮与蜗杆啮合连接。该助力机构结构简单,实用性好,解决了现有电动转向器的输出扭矩基本只能满足轻卡商用车输出扭矩的要求,无法满足中、重型商用汽车的扭矩输出需要;同时其结构形式单一,往往与整车外形空间干涉,很难满足客户整车间隙要求的问题。
