The invention relates to a highway adaptive variable speed limit and information cooperative control system in adverse weather and belongs to the technical field of intelligent traffic management and control. The system comprises a variable message sign VMS, a variable speed limit signboard VLS, a traffic meteorological monitoring station RWS, a traffic flow detection device TRA and a cooperative controller; wherein the variable message sign VMS is used for issuing the type, position and management and control measures of the current severe weather; the variable speed limit signboard VLS is used for issuing a real-time speed limit value of the current speed limit area; the traffic flow detection equipment TRA is used for collecting the traffic flow information; the traffic meteorological monitoring station RWS is used for acquiring meteorological parameters of a road section in real time; according to the method, road conditions, meteorological environment differences and the like of continuous speed limit areas of mountainous highways are combined, cooperative control technologies such as the variable speed limit signboards and the variable information boards are adopted, traffic safety and efficiency of the highways in severe weather are improved, and the method is easy to apply and popularize.

    本发明涉及一种不利天气高速公路自适应可变限速与信息协同控制系统,属于智能交通管理与控制技术领域。该系统包括可变情报板VMS、可变限速标志牌VLS、交通气象监测站RWS、交通流检测设备TRA和协同控制器;可变情报板VMS用于发布当前恶劣天气类型、位置以及管控措施;可变限速标志牌VLS用于发布当前限速区的实时限速值;交通流检测设备TRA用于采集交通流信息;交通气象监测站RWS用于实时采集路段的气象参数;本发明结合山区公路连续限速区的道路条件、气象环境差异等,采用可变限速标志牌和可变情报板等协同控制技术,提升高速公路在恶劣天气下的通行安全性与效率,易于推广应用。
