The tread rubber composition comprises the following components in parts by weight: 100 parts of matrix rubber, 45-60 parts of carbon black, 2-3 parts of functional resin, 3-5 parts of an anti-aging agent, 4-7 parts of an active agent, 1-3 parts of a vulcanizing agent and 1-2 parts of an accelerant. The preparation method of the tread rubber composition comprises the steps of preparation of first-stage masterbatch, preparation of second-stage masterbatch, preparation of third-stage masterbatch and preparation of the tread rubber composition with high wear resistance. The tread prepared by using the tread rubber composition and the preparation method thereof provided by the invention has the characteristics of long service life, high wear resistance and the like.
