The invention provides a power battery thermal runaway all-time monitoring system and method and a new energy automobile, and aims to solve the problem that a battery management system cannot perform thermal runaway monitoring in a dormant state. The system comprises an acquisition device and a battery management system connected with the acquisition device, wherein the acquisition device is used for performing timed self-awakening after the battery management system is in a dormant state, respectively performing real-time temperature and real-time voltage acquisition on each single battery core of a power battery after self-awakening, comparing the real-time temperature and the real-time voltage of each single battery core with corresponding preset thresholds, and awakening the battery management system if the real-time voltage of the single battery core is smaller than the corresponding preset voltage threshold value, and/or if the real-time temperature of the single battery core is larger than the corresponding preset temperature threshold value, and the battery management system is used for performing thermal runaway monitoring based on the temperature rise rate and the voltage drop rate of each single battery core of the power battery after being awakened by the acquisition device.

    本发明提供了一种动力电池热失控全时段监控系统、方法及新能源汽车,其能够解决电池管理系统在休眠状态下无法进行热失控监控问题。该系统,包括:采集装置及与其相连的电池管理系统;采集装置用于:在电池管理系统处于休眠状态后进行定时自唤醒;并在自唤醒后,对动力电池各单体电芯分别进行实时温度与实时电压采集;再将各单体电芯的实时温度和实时电压与各自对应的预设阈值进行比较;若存在单体电芯的实时电压小于各自对应的预设电压阈值,和/或,若存在单体电芯的实时温度大于对应的预设温度阈值,则唤醒电池管理系统;电池管理系统用于:在被采集装置唤醒后,基于动力电池各单体电芯的温升速率和压降速率进行热失控监控。
