The biped robot comprises a main body, two leg structures and a balance part, wherein the two leg structures are symmetrically installed on the two sides of the main body and can swing relative to the main body; and the balance part comprises a flywheel and a first driving piece, the first driving piece is installed on the main body, the first driving piece is connected with the flywheel and used for driving the flywheel to rotate, and the extending direction of the rotating axis of the flywheel is perpendicular to the distribution direction of the leg structures on the main body. According to the biped robot in the above embodiment, the leg structures swing relative to the main body, so the robot can avoid obstacles in an advancing process; and the torque generated by rotation of the flywheel can offset the torque applied to the main body due to lifting of the leg structures, and the robot keeps balanced in a walking process, so the walking stability of the biped robot is improved.
