The invention discloses a city-level intelligent parking construction method, and the method comprises the steps: detecting whether a vehicle is parked in a parking space or not through an NB-IoT geomagnetic detector and a wireless ultrasonic parking space detector which are disposed in the parking space, transmitting the detection data to an NB-IoT communication base station, transmitting the data to a road-occupying parking management center through the NB-IoT communication base station, wherein the road-occupying parking management center transmits parking space state information to the parking guidance screen, the inspection equipment, the PDA equipment and the user mobile phone terminal APP. Compared with a traditional single geomagnetic technology, the method is more stable, adapts to severe environments such as high and low temperatures and is higher in recognition rate; and the influence of strong magnetism and weather change on the data acquisition accuracy is avoided, the innovation of a charging mode is guided through technical innovation, the conflict between a vehicle owner and a service unit is reduced, and the happiness index of citizens is improved.
