The fork weighing device comprises forks, suspension covers and sensor assemblies, each fork comprises a transverse fork arm and a longitudinal fork arm, two cantilever beam sensors of each sensor assembly are installed in two assembling grooves of each transverse fork arm correspondingly, and pressure-bearing heads of every two cantilever beam sensors are fixedly connected with each suspension cover correspondingly. The weighing operation of cargoes is completed while a forklift carries the cargoes. The invention also provides a forklift freight weighing information acquisition method. The forklift freight weighing information acquisition method comprises the following steps that 1, identification codes of the cargoes are scanned when the cargoes are carried, and the number of scanners and the identification codes information of the cargoes are transmitted to a server for storage; 2, the fork weighing device sends cargo weight information to the server for storage through data receiving and processing modules and coordinator nodes; and 3, the server matches the serial number of the scanners and the cargo identification codes information with the collected corresponding cargo weight information. The data acquisition speed during loading and unloading operation is improved by adopting identification code data acquisition technology.
