The rotor assembly comprises a mounting base and a magnet assembly mounted on the mounting base, wherein he mounting base comprises a base body and a plurality of rows of magnet assembly mounting structures arranged on the base body, and a plurality of groups of magnet assemblies are mounted on each row of magnet mounting structure; and the plurality of rows of magnet assembly mounting structures are arranged in parallel, the magnet assemblies installed on every two rows of magnet installation structures are in one-to-one correspondence, and a coil gap is formed between every two rows of magnet assemblies and used for accommodating a coil. According to the rotor assembly applied to the magnetic suspension elevator, N-1 rows of coils can be arranged between the N rows of magnet assembly mounting structures, and compared with an independent design mode that every two rows of magnets correspond to one row of coils, the number of the magnets can be greatly reduced.
