The invention relates to a method of controlling regenerative torque of a vehicle. The method includes the steps: receiving a first signal from one or more sensors; estimating a vehicle speed based on the first signal; determining a stability of the vehicle based at least on the estimated vehicle speed; and controlling a motor to increase, maintain or reduce the regenerative torque based on the stability of the vehicle. The invention further provides a regenerative torque controller, an anti-lock braking system, an automobile and a computer storage medium.
