The invention discloses a birotor hub motor based on an axial magnetic field and a control method thereof. The birotor hub motor comprises a wheel axle and a hub, the wheel axle is fixedly connected with a frame, the hub relatively rotates by taking the wheel axle as a center, the wheel axle is fixedly connected with a disc-shaped middle stator, a left coil assembly and a right coil assembly are fixedly installed on the two sides of the middle stator respectively, a left rotor and a right rotor are arranged on the two sides of the middle stator respectively, the left coil assembly drives the left rotor to rotate, and the right coil assembly drives the right rotor to rotate; a left clutch is arranged between the left rotor and the hub, and a right clutch and a speed reducing mechanism are arranged between the right rotor and the hub. The birotor hub motor has the beneficial effects that the requirement for variable working conditions during actual running of a vehicle can be met, two motors can work at high efficiency, and energy consumption of the whole vehicle can be reduced; installation spaces of the left clutch and the right clutch are optimized, the axial size of the motor is reduced, and the weight is reduced.

    本发明公开了一种基于轴向磁场的双转子轮毂电机及其控制方法,包括车轮轴和轮毂,所述车轮轴与车架固定连接,轮毂以车轮轴为中心进行相对转动,所述车轮轴上固定连接有圆盘状中间定子,所述中间定子两侧分别固定安装有左侧线圈组件和右侧线圈组件,所述中间定子两侧设有左侧转子和右侧转子,所述左侧线圈组件驱动左侧转子转动,所述右侧线圈组件驱动右侧转子转动;所述左侧转子与轮毂之间设有左侧离合器,所述右侧转子与轮毂之间设有右侧离合器和减速机构。有益效果:本发明能够满足车辆实际行驶时工况多变的需求,且两个电机均能保持较高的效率工作,可减小整车的能量消耗;优化了左、右侧离合器的安装空间,减小电机的轴向尺寸,减轻重量。
