The invention discloses a dual-redundancy steer-by-wire control system and method, and a corner control signal module is in bidirectional connection with an electronic steering controller module, and the electronic steering controller module is in unidirectional connection with a main motor module and an auxiliary motor module; the main motor module is in one-way connection with the transmission mechanism module and the main motor torque angle sensor module, and the auxiliary motor module is in one-way connection with the transmission mechanism module and the auxiliary motor torque angle sensor module. The main motor torque angle sensor module and the auxiliary motor torque angle sensor module are both in two-way connection with the electronic steering controller module, the transmission mechanism module is in one-way connection with the executing mechanism module, and the executing mechanism module is in one-way connection with a left front wheel module and a right front wheel module of a vehicle. The reliability, safety and real-time communication performance of the system are improved and optimized, and meanwhile the structure is simple.
