The invention discloses a visual monitoring system for tower crane operation, and belongs to the technical field of tower cranes. The visual monitoring system for tower crane operation comprises a tower crane, a data acquisition module, a wireless network, a monitoring center and a remote detection platform, wherein the data acquisition module comprises a camera shooting unit and a sensing equipment unit; the camera shooting unit is arranged at the tail end of a tower crane working arm and used for video recording; the sensing equipment comprises a radio frequency wireless corner sensor, a height sensor, a wind speed sensor, an amplitude sensor, a wireless tilt sensor and a weight sensor; the wireless network comprises a field base station and a coordinator; the data acquisition module acquires tower crane operation scene information and transmits the information through the wireless network; the monitoring center is used for receiving signals transmitted by the wireless network; a safety monitoring module in the monitoring center is used for controlling a tower crane motor to work; and the remote detection platform is connected with the monitoring center through a first wireless communication module. Multiple elements are continuously measured through the technology, and the working condition of the tower crane is monitored in real time.
