The invention discloses a space ladder climbing robot for high-speed large-load transportation. The space ladder climbing robot comprises at least two driving systems and a load system connected between the two driving systems. Each driving system comprises a driving system frame, an active adhesion device arranged on the driving system frame, a guide mechanism and a power output system. In each driving system, the active adhesion device comprises a driving roller, a driven roller assembly and an adhesion adjusting mechanism, the driven roller assembly comprises a driven roller mounting platehinged to the driving system frame and two driven rollers rotatably mounted on the driven roller mounting plate; a gap allowing the climbing belt to pass through is formed between the driven roller and the driving roller, the adhesion adjusting mechanism comprises a sliding block, a tension spring connected between the sliding block and the driven roller mounting plate, and a lead screw nut pair for driving the sliding block to slide, the guide mechanism comprises two guide wheels which are parallel to each other, and the power output system is used for driving the driving roller to rotate.
